What should I pay attention to when using glass floor cleaning wipes?

Update:07 Mar

1. Choose the right type of wipes
Confirm the specificity: avoid using cleaning glass floor wipes containing abrasive particles or strong acid and alkaline ingredients to prevent scratching or corrosion of the glass surface.
Pay attention to the safety of ingredients: give priority to wet wipes marked "fragrance-free", "environmentally friendly" or "green certification" to reduce the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and reduce potential harm to the respiratory system and health

2. Preparation before cleaning

Remove surface debris: first use a vacuum cleaner or dry cloth to clean hard objects such as dust and gravel on the floor to avoid scratching the glass when wiping.
Check the expiration date of wet wipes: expired wet wipes may lose their cleaning effect due to water evaporation or deterioration of ingredients, and even breed bacteria.

3. Operation specifications during use
Gently wipe: wipe gently in the same direction with a wet wipe, avoid excessive force or repeated friction, so as not to damage the anti-slip coating or glossiness of the glass surface.
Control humidity: If the wet wipes have a high water content, they can be wrung out properly before use to prevent moisture from penetrating into the floor joints or causing slipping.
Avoid contact with sensitive areas: Do not use wet wipes to wipe eyes, mucous membranes or wounds. Wash hands in time after use, and properly dispose of discarded wet wipes to prevent children or pets from accidentally ingesting them.

4. Treatment and maintenance after cleaning
Wipe off the residue in time: Use a dry cloth or dry mop to wipe off the residual liquid of wet wipes on the floor to avoid water stains or detergent residues that affect the appearance.
Ventilation and drying: Keep the room ventilated after cleaning to accelerate the volatilization of VOCs and reduce the retention of chemical substances.
Regular maintenance: For stubborn stains (such as oil stains and scale), special glass cleaners can be used for local treatment to avoid long-term reliance on wet wipes that lead to incomplete cleaning.
