What should I pay attention to when using Cleaning Tile Floor Wipes?

Update:20 Feb

Choose the right cleaning tile floor wipes containing bleach, ammonia or acidic cleaners, as these ingredients may damage the tile surface or cause stains. It is recommended to use a neutral cleaner or a cleaning product specifically for tiles.

Before using any cleaner, test it on an inconspicuous area of the tile to ensure that it will not cause damage or discoloration. Do not use abrasive pads, steel wool or other tools that may scratch the tile surface.

Adjust the dilution ratio according to the instructions of the cleaner and make sure that the cleaner stays on the tile surface for an appropriate time (usually 1-2 minutes) and then rinses it thoroughly. After cleaning, make sure the tile surface is completely dry to prevent water stains from leaving marks or causing slips.

Clean the tile regularly with a microfiber mop or damp rag to remove dust and dirt. For stubborn stains, you can use a mild detergent and wipe gently. Oil-based cleaners may damage the tile surface, especially for unglazed tiles.

Different types of tiles, such as glazed tiles, polished tiles, or natural stone, require different cleaning methods. For example, glazed tiles may require a gentler cleaner, while natural stone requires a specialized protector. During the cleaning process, avoid applying excessive pressure to the tile to avoid damaging the surface. If there is a spill on the tile surface, wipe it immediately with a clean damp cloth or paper towel to prevent stains from penetrating.
